Sats vs BTC: start thinking in smaller units
One bitcoin divides into 100 million satoshis. At today’s prices, $10 buys you tens of thousands of sats, and that framing changes everything about “it’s too expensive.”
Nobody needs a whole bitcoin to participate. Wallets, exchanges, and even this site’s converter all speak sats fluently. When someone says “I can’t afford Bitcoin,” what they usually mean is they haven’t met the satoshi yet.

The halving doesn’t change anything about using Bitcoin. What it guarantees is predictability: everyone knows exactly how much new bitcoin will exist and when, decades in advance. No government currency can say the same.

Inflation is a slow leak in every dollar you hold. Bitcoin’s pitch is simple: 21 million units, no more, ever. Whether that makes it a good savings vehicle is for you to decide. Our Bitcoin vs Traditional Money guide lays out both sides.
